Morning all I have a D&S GER/LNER 6 wheel brake third coach dia519 and I wonder if anyone has a drawing of the underframe and roof detail. I have seen a couple of photos but the underframe looks nothing like what is in the kit. I have tried to ring Danny but no replies so must be away. The photos show what looks like air tanks but nothng in the kit or on the kit diagram which are not very good. There are some castings in the kit which I have no idea where they go. Kit diagram shows a footboard level with the axle boxes but not on the photos. I also cannot find any books or info relating to these coaches. the period I am modelling is 1940-1950 if that helps.
