I received an email at work asking for m y involvement in a topic, it was full of abbreviations and acronyms, so I ignored, the following day the person came to see me to ask why I hadn't responded. My reply was that it was illegible and if he wanted to send it again in a language I understood, then I might be able to comment, he got the message and I got a new email in English.

There are some out right lies in that statement, you have been severely mis informed, when the game went pro the clubs approached the RFU to ask if they were going to run the leagues and the RFU washed their hands of it and issued a statement saying they were not going to be responsible for players contracts.

You are very naive to think that the RFU are the answer, they are close to bankruptcy themselves. You cannot compare the national spot of soccer to rugby as it is a minority sport that has never attracted huge crowds, even the recent games a twickenham didn't sell well. The RFU are under review from the government to see if there is any case of mis management, though not holding my breath for a report any time soon. The game below the Premiership has now issued two motions of no confidence in the RFU, they in complete and utter disarray. It is the RFU that has brought about the malaise that is the England rugby team, knee jerk re-actions and no planning or communication with those actually trying to run the game. Your comments could not be more wrong.

Without the clubs, ALL of them there is no RFU. the game can continue without the RFU, they do not exist without the clubs, the RFU should be replaced it is not fit for purpose.

There's a Walnut tree on the farm in Tunstead, first time I saw it I didn't know what it was with the green outer soft casing around the more familiar nut, tasty though.

It is currently "tattie fortnight" here in Scotland, schools closed and roads knee deep in mud. The holiday used to be when all the families took to the fields to lift the crop, now a bloke in an air conditioned GPS controlled huge piece of gear lifts the lot whilst the kids play on the park. Almost all tatties round here are the versatile "Rooster" and they all go to Brechin to the Albert Bartlett sheds, the size of football grounds and full to the roof with tattie boxes.

Something amiss with all these perfect chip posts, first and foremost you need the right potato, there are several candidates, but the Pink Fir Apple chip sits at the top for most connoisseurs.
