Not true. I used trigonometry to correct the camber on the rear of my rally Mini without needing to buy expensive (and possibly more fragile) adjustable brackets

I would have thought that you would have used a wrench.:biggrin_mini:

Ladies and Gentlemen - let me share the ULTIMATE groan inducing joke...

That Hans that do dishes, can be soft as Gervais, with mild green,
    hairy lip squid!"

    Well I did warn you:D

I confess, that means absolutely nothing to me; it must be a location thing.

That reminds me that a friend's son is required to take trigonometry this year during his senior year. Trig for gosh sake is totally useless for daily living. BTW, his entire class failed the first test!

Considering the fuss around the broccoli/florets joke that the Tourette's society made, you'll probably have some comments from people with speech impediments now. Personally I thought it was funny :P

I do not know about comments from people with speech impediments but here is a comment from one without: "I had broccoli for lunch today!" :biggrin_mini::biggrin_mini::P:biggrin_mini:

...snip... After sending literally thousands of parcels all over the world by Royal Mail I can assure everyone that their service is second to none, even though things do occasionally go awry.

I have bought several items (Bachmann OO Class 66s mainly) from ebay.uk and all have arrived here reasonably quickly and in great shape via Royal Mail small air parcel. They took from ten to fourteen days.  I agree that the RM does quite well. I also think that the USPS is the best over here.

They landed on all the electricity poles nearby.  This one is in our garden and had several sparrow nests earlier in the summer.

And some more on the next pylon heading north.

There must be something about birds and power poles; a crow on a pole in Lake Worth, FL:

  8. There are a number of large used book dealers (at least here on ebay us) that I have dealt with; betterworldbooks (my favorite), thrift.books, and a couple more. All have performed very satisfactorily. Most of mine ring up at $3.99 or so with "free" shipping and an added 15% or so discount if one buys three or more books.
