Morning Had my favorite DCC sound Bachmann 25 totally shut down with a very nasty noise and a power surge and need to send it for repairs. Any recommendations please? Thanks Mike

I'm new to DCC and have spent today instilling a test set-up using a NCE Procab, Peco code 75 concrete medium points (powered by SMAILS) and testing with a Bachmann Peak and a 25. The Rat works perfectly but the Peak is a bit spotty over the points. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this? More power jumpers? More bond wires? I have considered large radius points but I don't think they are practical given space constraints (and also not concrete) and I would like to try other fixes first. Any advice other than no Peaks gratefully received! Mike
