    Hi @Michael Hodgson

Funny enough our Glasgow announcement last year, the Class 66, was due to be announced on the Friday, and was leaked by an individual who was passed on the information by another manufacturer. The individual posted it onto a well known Facebook group with much glee about 30 mins before the actual announcement.

The same individual has been boasting that he will pull the same trick this year, while referencing our fondness for potatoes. You know, cos we are Irish and all. So, let’s see what he leaks this year.

    Cheers!

    Fran

I hope you have a mashing time in Glasgow and don’t drink too much vodka lol  I will have my eyes peeled to social media awaiting the announcement 😂 😂 😂

After a long,(very long) hiatus, I finally summoned up the energy to push on with the 309!

Once I started, the mojo came back for a bit! First the interiors -

Mostly made from Replica coach interior moulding seats. These were chopped off the mouldings. It was a lot of work but I had them given! And here she is posing on Parrot Hall -

The pantograph is a rare beast, a Hurst Models non high speed pan! I built the first two of these back in the day, one for Andrew Hurst and one for me. And I wrote the instructions, if they were ever used!  She made her first showing on Coppell at Newcastle show and ran all weekend with no issues.

Parrot Hall will be appearing at Canterbury show in January if anyone south of Watford wants to see it in the flesh! Kev.

    305 next ???? 😂

Well it's been a while but I figured I'd better get my finger out, as Loch Dour will be having it's post covid 'comeback' at the Maclesfield show at the end of March!  Stockwise, a few wagons have been added to the 70's fleet as well as more coaches, including the sleeper rake seen here -

The first one is converted to a composite with a few roof mods. For the 80's fleet 37 409 is finished and the 'other' Kev's 37 404 is ready for re-assembly.  So all I have to do now is service all the stock and clean and pack the layout! Kev.

Looking forward to seeing  the layout for the 1st time and playing with my class 37

A 305/1 to be finished in blue stripe “ex NSE” . Once again excellent service from Dave at Southern Pride. I’m not going to start it yet though! Kev.
