  1. When i´m looking for more prototype railway in the 60´s , i gonna some find little ones in the family-album on some photo´s. Small things can maybe help to complete the setting you want. The locomotive is a Bachmann Branchline former WD-locomotive , wich also fame has as the ´Longmoor´ in dutch country . NS bought some of this locomotives second hand to give an extra boost of it´s locomotive roster. These series are also known as the 4300 series en 5000 series .
  2. I´m added some little details to make it more alive. When i´m working as a gardner daily´s it give me more ideas to more realistic , as i was on an unknown place in the surroundings.
  3. My inspiration is based from a photo , i saw many years ago in a familyalbum when i saw my mother with her father in the 60´s in front of her home. I have good memories from my mother , now she s in heaven, her illness was short and haevy, she was 58 years old when she was definitve left . It´s for me a good memory to keep things alive , also you can it give a sort of form of it.
  4. When i was stuck in the layout i wanted to build , it´s for me the time to try a complete different as bebore. I show you already 2 pics what i try to view, namely the 60´s in my own surroundings. i also try to imagine how it was in the 60´s of the Netherlands. It´s just a begin. Greets Alexander
  5. Today has arrived my new loocomtive , with special thanks to Pieter.
  6. A long time ago i have been absent ,when i not build on my layout i´m looking for new challenges . Train compostions to find on the web is such an example. I collect mainly wagons so i can realise trains what i wanted. The locomotives i choose for the compositions i want. I have 4 diesellocomotives en 7 steamers , wich 1 has been ordered , the Lord Phil from Hornby ,also a remembrance of my youth years when i visit a railway in the Netherlands Tilburg - Turnhout , it stops en returns in Baarle Nassau. This simple steammuseum had a 0-6-0 locomotive as Lord Phil. The photo i show you are my latest acquisitions without the Jinty.

  8. Thanks !! That´s why i just excite when i visit this forum ,now i´m gonna work further to my micro and about 17 days later i go on vacation with my girlfiend to Tjechien republic .In the meantime i show you an upgrade when i´m ready.
  9. Sometimes you will see East-european trains , wich it becomes also a favorite of mine.Sometime also Dutch trains. When i make my layout general , i can choose what setting i can take.
  10. I give the layout minimal details , wich i give it more feeling to it.There is more things to do. The platform is extended, so i can run a longer passengertrain. that extists in two coaches with a small steamengine as the Jinty.
  11. It´s good to see that you start to build minimal , it gives ideas to others what they want to build them .The wall is a good solution that you can hide your small layout. Another good plan that works is, when your layout on height , to try it on eye-view.It seems like that the layout has depth. Looking forward for more ... Greets Alexander
  12. I started to build this one as a museum-line.It made me practical when i make the choices that i want. That´s why i buy sometimes a locomotive or wagon that i choose not exactly to build a prototype railway. My setting is a sort of from point to point railway.
  13. I started to build this new microlayout in some basicsettings so i can change the buildings when i ride with German or Dutch trains or British trains Recently i bought a Jinty , special thanks to PMuller , wich he is also a member of this forum.
  14. A new time has come ,when i read the contributions here in this forum , i had decide much earlier to build a new microlayout. A problem for me is , how to start so that it does not become too much in one go. Maybe you have ideas for me. for a good start . Where can i find good ideas for British single track prototypes ?
  15. Today , i bought a locomtive in a local trainstore when i first thought i buy some wagons , when i saw this one , i was upside down. The choice was quikly made and i decide leave the wagons for what it was . This locomotive costs me little, when i agree the price of it . You see the locomotive on a dutch diorama.
  16. Thanks , it´s been a few months ago when i´m building and detailing my layout. Now i´m thinking to build a new one . Orginally it is a Dutch landscape but i can use it for my 00 models to,thats why i have it choose to build general scenery. 23. Thanks , it´s for me difficult to start to buiding a layout in a different scale. I try some first steps in 00 scele form , frequently i visit this forum to how it´s made.
  24. When i began with the scale , i started simple , because i had little experience wirh 00 scale , wich it was for me completly new. I´ve had many experience in HO and N scale microlayouts f.
