  1. Great work on the rolling stock. I am still trying to sort out how to letter and paint the cars I have. Any advice on colours would be geatly appreciated. Larry
  2. I did not even think you could remove the wheels from a Wrightlines bogie after it was built. I have a number of the kits where I have not built them waiting to buy new wheel sets. I will be following with interest.

Kevin, When you mention auto coupling are you thinking chopper couplers or something more like Kadee?

  8. Do you recall who made this kit? Thanks
  9. That is some serious dedication. The time spent was well worth the effort. It is a good thing that the trains were really short.
  10. The Bus turned out vey well. I like the barbed wire protection as well.
  11. Hi, I'm trying to build a WW1 British / Canadian trench railroad for show display and need rolling stock. I know that there are 0-16.5 kits out there by Wrightlines and maybe others. I am currently located in the US so please be willing to ship to the US at my cost. Thanks for any help you can provide.
  12. Looking for a Wrightlines War Department O-16.5 Protected Simplex Kit - or any WD car kits. I have attached a picture of a built model.

    A real mixed bag

Thanks for the offer, I'm sure I will need lot's of help. I have a built protected simplex from Wrightlines and some cannon kits from Duncan Models. Working with a UK vendor to buy some PLM Castaway figures and trying to track down Wrightlines WD cars on ebay. I also have a couple of friends helping do some CAD and 3d printing of some equipment. Fun times.

Hi, I have dreamed of a trench railway for the past eight years and have been attempting to find the parts needed to move forward. Now I find your amazing blog to help me better piece everything together. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. It appears I have some reading to do. Larry AKA BigLars
