Hello again, thanks for the help managed to get round to chipping my little Jinty today and by following your instructions all went fine. Slight problem with siting the chip forward of the plastic which forms the crew area but ok. Works well with the Hattons Chip I used £16 and all hard wired in easily. A little PecoLube and it runs very sweetly and better than before!! Thanks again.

Thanks I'll give it a go and let you know the outcome! I'll be using a Hattons decoder as these are my default ones due to price and have been excellent so far.

Wonder if I'll get my free Daily Mail one built, we shall see!

I have a second hand model of this loco in good condition and wish to fit DCC. I notice that there are pickups on only one side. Does this mean that fitting DCC will be problematical? I have fitted DCC to a split chassis Bachmann Loco OK.
