Yes it does indeed, I thought the same thing. It's the JL EVE variant of the L6 is the one you mean. (Edit): Just found out why they are so similar, the L13 is designed by Babcocks who are JL EVE.

Here’s the D60 as shown in picture 4, this is 4YM-53. I also have close ups of a BICC L6 D so if you want any photos please let me know, I went underneath too. best regards, Matthew

The images don't seem to be loading on my screen. I just tried opening them in a new tab as well and unfortunately it comes up with an error 404.

Here’s some pics of a BICC L6 D90 doing what it does best, the tower is on the 4YM line between Bramford and Norwich and is tower 4YM-51

By the looks of it the 132kv PL16 line is going under a L3/L2 line. My guess for this is that the PL16 line (the smaller pylons) was built first but when the L2/L3 pylons came about later they had to split the line and divert it underneath using those smaller pylons. I’m not an expert I just like these things so I might be wrong in a couple of places but someone will correct me. HTH, Matthew

Ah ok. So is that tower at Burwell a D40EC then and is there a plan for it? best regards, Matthew

Hi all, Having just acquired a spare GNER Eurostar body shell I was wondering if there is any finer scale pantographs that that resemble the real thing a bit more. My first look was Jouef being as they originally did the models and the other TGVs but I am having trouble finding spares. Any help would be much appreciated best regards, Matthew
-
So that means that the L6 at Burwell is a L6 D40EC, so is there a plan for them or is it just a mix and match of other plans..... This might require another email to national grid asking?

Where did you find those Paul? Were they on the internet? regards, Matthew

They are both Balfour Beatty L6s and the second one is doing the same thing as the first, the only reason I said they are the same is because they have pointed tops, compared to the flat top on a standard D60
-
Also, what L6 would this be? I know it’s of a Balfour Beatty design and I know it has traits of a D60 but I want to know if it’s a special type of tower. There is another type of this at another substation (name I have forgotten) that has a similar design too.
-
I honestly don’t know it just looked like a D60 as the pattern and shape looked the same, I saw a D60 too and will do a comparison using a couple of pics, it might well be but like I said, it’s just what it looked like. best regards, Matthew

Presenting England’s southernmost 400kv substation: Indian Queens. I have more photos including going under the L2 D60 so let me know if you want any more
-
Ah ok, now remember they are the same as I went under an L3C line recently and there was a D60 but it was the standard version.... I should’ve remembered D’oh best regards, Matthew

Unfortunately that road is unnamed, I do remember seeing a railway though so that might be the one. best regards, Matthew

As promised here’s the quad conductor L12, it’s more a converter but still unusual being as they are only built to contain twin conductors. best regards, Matthew
-
Ah ok I’ll get a couple of snips off google earth and put them on here. best regards, Matthew

It is to the west of Newport in one of the industrial estates, near to the abandoned D2 road, it appears there’s 3 D25s, followed by a DT, then a D55 before returning to a BB L6 D60. And yes unfortunately they are L12 as the cross arms are the L12 look. The L13s if I remember are only for triple conductors. best regards, Matthew
-
Ah yes the L12 lines near Keadby I have seen, I have photos of them somewhere so I need to find them when I get back. You mentioned L12s can only use double conductors, there’s an L12 on the outskirts of Newport that has quad conductors as it comes off a quad conductor BB L6 line
