Answers to TEAMYAKIMA's questions are as follows. 1. This is personal opinion. It is indeed possible to be a member of both. 2. The small club atmosphere and a few experimental features regarding club life 3. No, I don't but I like setting things up not to mention the small 'village club' atmosphere.

Hi TEAMIKYA, one of the main ideas is to offer people a smaller, cosier club to go to. The MRC is excellent, but it is a very large club with an established membership and as with any large social group, people have to climb to the top, whereas a smaller MRC working on a maximum of two projects will suit some more. It's simply an alternative to the large club atmosphere extant in the MRC.

This is the virtual clubroom for the Central London MRC. Everyone is welcome and this is a great platform for people to get to know each other.

Everyone is welcome, just that the clubrooms will be located with easy access (under 20 mins by car) from Central London in mind. I will be setting up a thread in clubs and societies as the 'virtual club' for now, but there will be a real bricks and mortar club soon!

We should be up and running in the near future, subject to the number of members we have. For now, this is simply an online group.

The Central London MRC is presently in its formative stages. We are looking for enthusiastic modellers who live/work in Central London (Zone 1 and parts of Zone 2 of the London Underground). Those who wish to partake are kindly asked to send a private message to me. We are currently searching for premises.
