William Dean’s grandson

Can anyone tell me what colour tail lamps were used on the GWR in the Dean/pre-Churchward era? I know the loco lamps were black with the white diamond etc but can’t find any references to tail lamps. Also anyone know of tail lamp configuration during the same period? Thanks.
