All depends on the degree of  bending as my ideas aren't all that firm as yet but if anything it would be more likely to be Camperdowm Yard rather than Trafalgar Yard or some such revision.

They would of been shunted through the yard, even if they didn't go down the tunnel. The Britain from the air photos show them in use by Newcastle Corporation's power supplier.

Ok folks, I wish to buy two U19s, but can't find contact details to do that. I don't do facebook which is all I can find, so please would someone please enlighten me with their details, so I can place an order? Thanks.

I have one detail question as to shed locations. I wish my two to be shedded in East Anglia eg, Cambridge, Kings Lynn, Peterborough etc, so do I have a choice of which transfers are included, whether on not they really did live there!

Depends which one, as there's two lots.

On the first floor, a fast food court with several counters serving different options.

Expensive for what's served, in disposable packaging

Plenty of seating there, but when I've looked at using it would have been unable to get a seat for people sitting chatting.

Or, go upstairs again to the second floor, a good restaurant serving a decent dinner for little more than down in the food court. Close to the standard of York (when it's on)

Note, caterings the responsibility of the venue, no criticism of the show organisers

Thank you Ken just what I was after.

  6. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to our annual show at

    Children (age 6-16): £3.00, Family (2+2): £16.00.

Many thanks for the info, @drmditch! I presumed Deerness was a diversion because a few photos I've found of 'top links' working the area say they're diverting due to line blockage at Ferryhill. Everyday's a school day!

I've found a copy of the March 1996 issue of BR Illustrated on eBay for the pricey sum of £3 on eBay, so if you think it's worth it, I'll invest!

The track diagram is dated 10th June 1901, which might be why the Bridge House junction is missing?

Thanks for the info on the Signal Box, is it the same type as Haydon Bridge? They look fairly similar to my untrained eye!

    Many thanks for your help,

    Dylan

    Hi Dylan.

Bridge House Junc. Doesn't directly connect to the section of line you showed in the signal box diagram. One of the routes ducks under where's you've shown and has a trailing connection to the Consett line at Baxter Wood No. 2 signal box.

A diversion from Darlington via Bishop Auckland to Durham is perfectly feasible to avoid Ferryhill.

    All the best Paul.

It made an appearance at Kendal Model Railway Exhibition this year and I hope to have it on the exhibition circuit again soon.

  9. Good Evening Tony

The second vehicle in the top photo I think is an ex GNR Dia.310 milk brake.

I'm taking a stab at the area the photo's were taken but the signals in the second photo may be D11 and D12, 12 miles 9.84 and half chains north of York. The photographer is maybe stood at the crossing 12 miles 7.93 chains.

Referenced against the ECML York to Newcastle line diagrams.
