  4. They would of been shunted through the yard, even if they didn't go down the tunnel. The Britain from the air photos show them in use by Newcastle Corporation's power supplier. Paul
  5. Apologies Fran must of missed that bit with all the drooling 🤤. Paul
  6. Fantastic news. Now about the LNER livery? Or have I missed something on your website?
  7. Hi Tod The email I received is from info@niumodels.co.uk hope this helps. Paul
  8. Cheers Andy literally food for thought.
  9. Thank you Ken just what I was after.
  10. A question if I may, what's the catering like? I'm assuming similar to York. It's my first trip to the Doncaster show so I was wondering what to expect.
  11. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors back to our annual show at Kendal Leisure Centre on the 29th and 30th of January 2022, 10am-5pm Sat and 10am-4pm Sun Adults: £6.00, Concessions: £5.00, Children (age 6-16): £3.00, Family (2+2): £16.00. Please note any necessary changes to arrangements, due to changes in Government policy etc. will be communicated via our website.
  12. Some official news. As things stand at the moment the Kendal Exhibition (29th/30th January) is on. Further details will be added shortly.
  13. Hi Dylan. Bridge House Junc. Doesn't directly connect to the section of line you showed in the signal box diagram. One of the routes ducks under where's you've shown and has a trailing connection to the Consett line at Baxter Wood No. 2 signal box. A diversion from Darlington via Bishop Auckland to Durham is perfectly feasible to avoid Ferryhill. All the best Paul.
  14. During the late 70's and 80's I got a Flying Scotsman set in this box, I also received this Sir Nigel Gresley set Both would be catalogue purchases probably Kays.
  15. Just to alay any fears Rails have tweeted the J27 as just in.
  16. As per a PM. Here is a couple of Arthur's kits built by Tony Cropper. D20 2020 Q5 1032
  17. Do we know if Earl Marischal will have deflectors or not?
  18. Fresh from Rails of Sheffield. Looks good in the flesh.
  19. Mine arrived today. All i can say is WOW. Really pleased with it. A couple of snaps witj my phone.
  20. Trafalgar Yard is not in the NE anymore it's in my modeling shed under going a conversion to DCC operation and general refurbishment. It made an appearance at Kendal Model Railway Exhibition this year and I hope to have it on the exhibition circuit again soon. The ES1 Shunter is the Mike Edge kit, built by Tony Cropper.
  21. Good Evening Tony The second vehicle in the top photo I think is an ex GNR Dia.310 milk brake. I'm taking a stab at the area the photo's were taken but the signals in the second photo may be D11 and D12, 12 miles 9.84 and half chains north of York. The photographer is maybe stood at the crossing 12 miles 7.93 chains. Referenced against the ECML York to Newcastle line diagrams.
  22. Afternoon everybody a couple of shots taken with my phone camera of the sunset the other night Not bad for 23:30 on a Saturday night. I think that's a couple of planets visable in the last one.
  23. Hi Jason I read your smooth bit with interest I'd certainly look at doing that on the next one. Time to do some scanning :locomotive: Paul
  24. Hi Jason The big difference is i didn't spin the out line, i extrude and scale not sure if it makes a great deal of difference. Another difference is i don't add any points to the original circle but add a sub surface modifier after. The models would need cleaning up with booleans etc. performing that modifier used to crash my old laptop. The flares were done by quartering the model, mirror modifier on the x and y axis and proportional editing which is what you do. Hope this helps Regards Paul
