  1. They were the early versions and can be used for push/pull services, I noted a three coach set, all in green, including a driving coach in Paderborn.
  2. Train formations are available in English for epoche III and some epoche IV on RoG, Google https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/germanrailfr/train-compositions-f20/ these are taken from prototype information, examples have images and recommendations of how to model each train, most types of DB services are covered. Regards
  3. Merry Christmas from me too! John, nice festive photograph.
  4. Did all the orders made, come through ? Regards David
  5. Weinert do some for HOe http://blaetterkatalog.weinert-modellbau.de/#page_228
  6. Hi, I have used this supplier for numerous products from different suppliers, they will order the parts you have asked for from the manufacturer, who will then forward the parts to wagenwerk, who will in turn forward to you, parts availability will depend on the manufacturer's stock level and can be delayed until they become available. Wagenwerk have never failed to fore-fill an order and I am more than willing to recommend them!
  7. The Piko range of 303mm HO coaches are a good basis to adapted to coaches that are not available commercially. The AR4um half first/half dining car is a point in question, this RAL 5011 steel blue coach has not been offered in the livery I need for my project. The conversion required a complete respray and full set of decals, which were sourced from Germany, the data panels were designed by Will Berghoff and the DSG coat of arms badges (etched) and the dining room shields were sourced from Kreye. A unique coach in 1966 livery is the out come, this can run in the premium first class F trains or Express services.
  8. Hi John, Some fine carpentry, interesting to watch on going progress. Nice locomotive and stock, not used to seeing green on German locomotives, just the later Red and Black livery. Keep up the good work
  9. My aim is to produce a model of a West German Industrial City in the 1960s. The period allows the use of both Deutsches Bundesbahn steam and diesel locomotives. The layout is designed as a five track continuous oval, with the Hauptbahnhof (Main station) and its approach tracks on one side and an eleven track storage yard on the other side (Capable of holding fourteen 1/87 scale prototype length trains, which will be run to a prototype timetable). Most of the buildings use commercially available kits from Pola/Faller/Kibri which have been modified to make a close representation of the prototype buildings. Track work is Peco code 100 streamline with added details by Weinert and laid on a cork bed with granite ballast. Control is by Roco ASC 2000 (anologue) electronic units with full simulation, which give very smooth running of my DC Locomotive fleet, which consists of products from all the major manufactures, as well as kit/scratch built models. Trains are made up as near to prototype formation as possible, using scale 1/87 Length models from all available manufactures, as well as the exquisite models by the German firm of Ade. I still have much to do to finish the layout.
