Hi All,
First posting here, so please be gentle!
I am in the early stages of modelling Wimborne station, on the "Old Road", in N gauge. I have completed several of the smaller buildings in the goods area, and am planning on tackling the provender stores next. Sadly , information on these is pretty thin on the ground.
My question concerns the 2 stores towards the goods yard throat. They appear from the station map to be joined.
The concrete store has double end loading doors, but no side doors.
This would mean that the "joining section" was used to link the 2 stores, with doors to access both buildings. Would this be a safe assumption? Has anyone any experience/knowledge of this being done on this/ or other sites, rather than just butting the 2 stores up against each other? If so, is the "joining section" likely to be concrete / timber/ open/ covered?
Many thanks for any help!
