Thanks for the information. I never would've imagined the trailer being manually pushed as an option but that certainly means much less space is required than I had originally thought.

Hi, I am interested in modelling a small steam tram line on my layout. I was wondering if steam trams were required to 'run round' their trailer when they reached the end of the line or if they could just reverse back along the line with the trolley car being pushed? are there any examples of this? My layout will not have room for a run round loop. Harry W
