    Cheers Mike!

Yes, always nice to see a certificate - bummer!

However. The main thing is, I haven’t got a missing one, so thanks for putting  my mind at ease ; )....

Received mine today and could not be happier, Bachmann’s Finishing and chassis have both come on soooooooooo much, since they first took over Mainline!

In fact.... Every new Bachmann loco I buy, just keeps on getting better & better! ! : ) Also very happy they decided to do the one repainted with correct arrows! Had the large arrowed one for some time, although never quite bonded with it?

One last question.... There seems to be a difference of opinion on how many of the new Inverness TMD have been produced. Some websites are saying 512, others are saying 350?

By the way, I had never heard of you, or your shop, before finding this thread on RMWEB! So, it looks as though you are gonna be getting a new customer; )... Liking the idea of bundles a lot!

    Thanks again Mike!

    Best Wishes,

    Coop

Very glad you received it! We've still got a few to ship out that we're fitting sound or DCC too, but we were one of the first shops to receive this model since we placed such a large order! We still have some available...

I believe they made 500 in total (or maybe 512) but the confusion is probably round the sound/non sound models. They tend to do 350 DCC Ready (which we prefer as customers can choose their DCC sound which we fit for free), and 150 DCC Sound models. I hope this helps!

Good to hear you've found us through RMWeb! We're glad to have you on board as a customer!

    Thanks

    Mike

    Hey KMS Railtech,

just received mine... Should there be a ltd edition certificate, or does it come without?

    Best Wishes,

    D

Hi, glad you have received your loco! There is not a cert with these models. They are classed as "Sales Area Exclusives" as opposed to limited editions. I'd have liked to have seen certs too!

    Thanks

1980's Scotrail. Shame that 37025 would require too much to backdate it! I've got an hour tomorrow before I have to accompany my next driver back to Aberdeen.

Great era! We've got a lot of this stock ourselves, and some in the store too!

I must have just missed this earlier when I was in the shop! Looks good but unfortunately out of era for me. I'm due back out to Inverurie tomorrow so will pop in again for a look....

Aww that's a shame! Feel free to pop back in.

    What's your era?

  5. Wow - the wait is over!

Come into the shop to see it in the flesh! We're just preparing these for shipping now. Decoders are being fitted for those that ordered them too, so if you've ordered one (or two) then they will be with you shortly!

  7. Hi all,

Just thought you may be interested (or maybe even excited like us!) to know that the 32-780RJ class 37025 Inverness TMD is due at our shop tomorrow FedEx dependant! HAS ARRIVED!

We can't wait to get our hands on these! As soon as they arrive we'll be getting them boxed up and sent of to pre ordered customers. We've a fair few to open up and fit sound to too. We ordered a lot of these, but they are selling very fast and are totally sold out with Bachmann so if you want one, check out our site.

  8. Inverness TMD Due 1st week of September!

Our latest info from Bachmann is that the eagerly awaited Class 37 025 Inverness TMD in Large Logo 32-780RJ is due at the beginning of September!

We ordered a LOT of these as we knew they'd be popular, but we're nearly sold out so if you want one, head to the website quick! We offer DCC or DCC sound by Legoman Biffo or SWD fitted for free and also your choice of custom weathering performed by ABC Workshops - it doesn't get better than that!

  9. KMS Railtech

We just wanted to introduce ourselves properly.

We are a model shop based in Aberdeenshire, run by model railway enthusiasts Jamie, Karl and Mike. We are experienced in DCC and own and develop TouchCab - the app for Lenz and ECoS.

Our shop is in Inverurie, within the Strachan's Toy Department where we have a large stock of items, including scenic materials and buildings. You can purchase online for delivery, or pickup in store too. We know the internet has killed local model shops, so it's not our full time job. We aim to be here for a long time as we believe the hobby needs local shops.

We're working on a number of exclusives and limited editions for the future, and have just uploaded our ScotRail Class 47/7 + Mk3a coach packs to our website. We also have a large order of Inverness TMDs coming soon but there's not many left to pre order!

    Hi,

That's good to know from when I'm next up that way.

Interesting to note that KMS have their address as Alford, their store as Inverurie, and their telephone number as Edinburgh!

    Regards,

    Alex.

Hi Alex, The address online is a strange one! The site does not make it very obvious that the address at the bottom is "head office" and there is a section for physical stores (which for us is only 1 right now). However, as you say, our addresses are as follows:

Alford (head office - where the business is registered)

    Inverurie - the physical shop.

Edinburgh - Actually, this is just a Skype number. it allows all our staff to take calls on our devices even when not in the store. Its not really an Edinburgh number!

    I hope this helps!

    Mike

  11. As mentioned in the OP, we have setup these for online orders on our website.

The items will be sent directly, but it allows you to pay and reserve online rather than having to do bank transfers or similar.

You can find the Ploughs HERE

You can also find lots of very well priced items on our site - www.kmsrailtech.co.uk -  and in our store in Aberdeenshire.

    Thanks

    Mike
