  1. You're right chaps, it is the frog. I touched the frog wire to the corresponding rail and the hesitation has gone away. Remove the wire and it returns. Thank you for the suggestions and help!
  2. I will check the pickups in case but it also occurs with my 56xx. Weirdly it's also when the rear of the loco moves through the frog
  3. I thought maybe something along those lines but none of the other frogs are wired up yet and there's no issue
  4. Hi New member here, not sure if I have posted this is the right area. Forgive me if so. I am building a small oo gauge shelf layout using peco bullhead track. I am having an issue with one particular point. I was hoping the experience of the members here may have an idea or two regarding this. Locos seem to slowdown/hesitate as they pass the frog. They might even stop if it wasnt for the stay alive. It happens when travelling forward and in reverse and whichever way the points are set. I have uploaded a video to illustrate what I mean. The points have droppers. The pieces of track on each end of the point also have droppers (although one isn't connected as can be seen in the video) The frog wire isn't connected to anything as yet. What would cause this hesitation? It doesn't occur anywhere else on the layout with other points. Thank you in advance for reading this and for any suggestions put forward. Ian
