Can't pre-order though, just can't know if I will have the money at the time.
that’s exactly what you need to do… pre order for £0 and if you can’t afford it when they’re due you just cancel it - it’s not like it’s a custom item only ever going to interest you… accurascale will sell it on to someone…- 1

Might be worth trying a 37 decoder in… can’t imagine there’s tooo much different between the projects on the non sound side

Give over, you dont have any, your approach and sell out success with the models, awards and following, you guys thought about running in the election......:)
It’s an interesting choice of words😂 unless there’s some magic features that haven't been talked about in struggling to understand how an update on deliveries (which I’m assuming is all it is) isn’t a trade secret 🤷♂️ I’m sure it’ll all come clear in a few weeks…
-
Is there an update to when the update is likely to be… updated? I can see one batch is on route according to the tracker?

Hi Derek,
Yes, anyone who needs them is encouraged to message us with their order number support@accurascale.com and we will post them out to you.
Cheers!

Oh… thought they were being sent out to anyone who ordered a set… I’ll drop support a message…

Is there an update on the missing RTC certs that were being posted out weeks ago?

Respect,a lot would e bay it the week after they turn up,it will go to a good home and keep its lifetime warranty for someone.
I thought about it… stopped and decided I couldn’t be bothered with the hassle & eBay fees… -
I’ve lost the ability to cancel orders (decided I didn’t want the freightliner exclusive in the end), sure you used to have the option - accurascale support did it for me on their end!

I don't like the AS approach
For clarity… it’s not the accurascale approach. Other manufacturers have used ESU to give the full lighting functions for their models - which went down with the Same “it’s not fair” cries, but the reality is, people want the bells and whistles a lot of the time so they’ll use the chip that works with the loco…

Wild guess - platform length?
I guess with parcels and goods still being a thing then having to add a second brake to the set wouldn’t appeal.

Yes, but only for some models. The class 30 and the Manor show only the pack weight for example.
The class 37 shows a pack weight that's lighter than the loco!
Probably because they’ve not got the full production weights just yet? Vice the 37 that’s been delivered.

Many thanks I am afraid I dont know as I have thrown the box out, loco runs great just cant get the cab lights to come on. So not sure what to do. Best Wishes Chris
get an ESU blown with the file is the best option you’ve got in my opinion… admittedly I tweeked mine so both markers and headlight came on with F0 and headlight off on a different function. -

as accurascale are yet to release their pre-programmed ESU chips
I wonder if the 37 chips would work, can’t be toooo much different… -

Never had any cut outs since fitting them to my 37s but I was getting cut out at start up every time prior to fitting on my 6 locos!!
Think I’ll wait out for the promised magic fix.. but there’s at least a few options to sorting the issue yourself if you want to :) -

I am looking at re-using an older sound chip (currently in a Hornby HST). I noted that the 8pin to 21pin adaptors I have still retain DC lighting buttons on all options even if DCC lighting is limited while the 8pin to plux 22 seems not to.
id go with leaving the 8 pin where it is personally… if you cant afford to retro fit sound you can pick plux 22’s up cheap to give you time to save up…- 1

I am looking at the plux22 spec and plux22 to 8 pin adapter by ESU which uses 12 pins on the plux side.
Now in the past with a 8 to 21 pin adapter. Even if you could not control all the lighting functions when they were controlled via several auxiliary functions, you could at least switch them on/off manually via the various switches as the remaining pins were covered like the blanking plate.
However with the plux22 8pin adaptor, there would 10 pins not engaged to any blanking plate. So my hunch here is that all the interior lights on the higher functions will be dead due to possibly the broken circuit.
My initial thoughts were reuse an older chip via the adaptor but I suspect I will loose a lot of the lighting under DC doing so.
why wouldn’t you just get a plux22 chip? -

Hi,
I've just had 37001 (digital sound) back from an 'Accurascale Works visit', but for the life of me I can't remember if when it left it had the 'brake grind' as the loco comes to a stand. (this isn't the sound that is played when the brake function is applied). I did look on YT and it does appear to have this sound??
Also, I presume to get the flange/rail squeal to work around corners with the Hall sensor F11needs to be pressed? Because at the moment with F11 pressed flange/rail squeal sound is always on no matter if on a straight or curve and without F11 pressed there's no sound at all.
I've tried decoder reset for both issues but this didn't change anything, I've contacted support, but while I wait a reply is there any CVs I could possibly change?
Thanks
The flange squeel could be crap on the hall sensor…

Hi everyone,
Just to update on the 66; the first of two containers was loaded on the ship over the weekend. With the current Houti situation the ship will be going the long way round which means 8 weeks before they land in the UK. The second container departs next Monday.
We will provide further updates as we get them with you all.
Cheers!
Fran
Is there going to be updates on the 31’s (which are due in this quarter) or the 37’s with a rough idea of timescales anytime soon? -

Personally I'm not as sold on the fit of the roofs as they were a bit variable across the samples I saw at ally pally. Also the body fit needs some work but there's plenty of time to fine tune for the production samples
surely the point of the samples to get it right prior to production? If they wernt improving each time I’d be concerned..:- 5
