Didcot Railway Centre

Hi everyone As I'm sure some of you will know, we are a preserved steam railway based in Oxfordshire and we are planning to hold a model railway and toy steam fair on 24/25 June. We're looking for exhibitors to come and display their layouts or engines. The event is being held over 2 days and ideally we'd like our exhibitors to come for both if possible. We are looking for both layouts, models and sales stands. We are hoping to have a marquee available (or feel free to bring your own if you have one). Exhibiting will be free of charge for layouts, but charged for sales stands). I'd really like to create some buzz around this, so if you'd like to come or know anyone that would, please let me know. We can accommodate most layouts, however the only consideration for you would be that we don't have vehicle access to our site. Deliveries to us come through the main station at Didcot Parkway and everything needs to come up the steps by hand. In advance, we will provide as many helping hands as possible as we wouldn't want your precious layouts to be damaged! Please do contact me if you're interested. We haven't yet done any advertising as I want to get an idea of numbers for exhibitors, but in the summer months over a similar weekend, we typically get 1,000 visitors and this is without specific targeting of model railway enthusiasts. In giving you free entry here too, you'd get unlimited train rides and free rein to look at everything we have to offer. Please ask if you have any questions.
