Llamedos

This loco was made by Jordan & Lewden & was either red or green. They also made Coppernob in red & green. There was also a Stephensons Rocket & a Stirling single. I have all four but have fitted scale wheels & provided tenders for them. The Stirling & Jumbo's tenders are motorised & rocket & coppernob are powered by motorised coaches

Hi. I have just remotored a Q6 using a Hornby X9979 motor available on Ebay. The drive shaft is the same length as the original so just needs the flywheel swapping. I had difficulty removing flywheel from old motor so cut motor shaft with a dremel just behind the flywheel then placed it over a slightly open vice and knocked the remaining shaft out with a small punch.
