Did GUV/CCTs run with passenger trains? Specifically from BR blue or later

Wen on sunday (today). Arrived in plenty of time, though got a bit lost so arrived shortly after 10:00. Advanced tickets meant no queue. I visited every stand (or at least tried to), and did visit JS models’ stand, although they didn’t have anything I wanted (I did ask for 1970s-era buildings), and got some track and coaches.

Attached is an improved track plan, based upon some measurements of the room I have to model (although there is some wiggle room, not included) How many coaches do would I be able to get in here, and how effective would this be, as a model?

I’m going to be visiting this year, looks good, and it’s my first one.

My layout will be both 1990s and 1970s southern WCMI, the station is top left, the goods yard is top right and TMD is middle. This is just the scenic area, there is a non scenic area where trains will run round a loop.

The lower left siding and lower right ones are actually branches off, I will probably look to expand as this is using the lower estimate for the space I have to model (I’m using the iPhone measure app) and if I get more space I’ll look to expand it. What exactly are turnaround facilities, as I was going to have a loco come in from the TMD (middle sidings) and come in to pick the coaches up.

None, due to the unavailabilty of track planning software on apple iphone. I may be able to whip a very bad representation up on something like openTTD though.

There’s a loop running the trains from the up to the down lines, and a short loop line to the TMD, FLT and a park and ride, but that’s it.

A large station with a loco stabling point, plus TMD, FLT , CS and a few bay platforms.

Hi all, first thread here. Was wondering if there was any way to store rolling stock like coaches without a fiddle yard. Would storage in the scenic area work?
