  1. This is brilliant guys. Thank you so much as that is super helpful! Jack
  2. Hey all, can someone help me identify which type of loco this is as I'm hoping to model this formation? Some sort of J class I'm assuming? Appreciate the help in advance, thank you!
  3. Thanks everyone for the great suggestions - a few new things for me to try!
  4. Hey all, I have done a forum search, but I have not found quite what I'm looking for. Has anyone come across a material that can be cut and works well as tarpaulins in OO gauge? I would rather not buy the sheets from Dundas for example and would prefer to make my own. It will not just be for wagons, but their loads or trackside etc. I did see an article in Model Rail a long while ago but I can't find it now (typical). I would be curious to hear how other people have achieved this :) Photos welcome! Thanks in advance. Jack
  5. That looks brilliant! Do you have a photo more close up of the rings on the warflat? I would be interested to see how you've made it all work. Thank you!
  6. Thank you @1466 that is very helpful indeed. I will give it a go with some wire.
  7. Hey all, First time post here at RMweb and seeking advice from the experts of detailing ;) I'm looking to start detailing up my Bachmann Warflats and the first job is adding chains to secure down the load. However there are a few problems where the shackle points are either non-existent on the tank, or moulded on the wagon. So the question is - Does anyone have a solution for adding chains to this? The issue will be adding the chain to the moulded shackle ring and then figuring out how to attach it to the tanks. All thoughts welcome and I look forward to sharing some of my modelling with you all in the coming months. Jack
