Hello All. This is my first time of posting and I wondered if anyone can help. I recently purchased the Accurascale sound fitted Manor, which uses a Loksound v5 chip in a Next18 socket. My controller is a Hornby Elite, three years old and with up-to-date software. The problem is this - I cannot change the loco address from the default 3, and I cannot read or write CVs. Most of the CVs return a 255 and the loco address, when read, returns XXX. I have had the loco changed twice and Accurascale cannot replicate the problem. They can change CV values OK with their equipment and have tried it with a Powercab which also works OK. I can program my other sound fitted locos without a problem. I have just returned the loco yet again but I really don't want this to continue much longer. Does anyone have any ideas or have encountered the same problem?
