Delighted to get two trams in the fictitious BR livery. I am delighted with them, but there are two issues of concern that maybe shouldn't have cropped up on items of such a high price:
The dynamic couplings seem to prevent the coaches getting round first radius curves, causing occasional derailments. On inspection, I found two lugs pointing upwards from the bogey frame locked the couplings when on the curve. The solution is simple - remove the bogie and turn it to face the other way. Problem solved! - but why create it in the first place?
Second issue - why does one of the coaches still have Mr Valentine's whisky barrel in it from the Titfield Thunderbolt days? Okay, I know the coaches didn't carry BR maroon livery, but are we to believe that the Titfield line was re-nationalised, and Mr Valentine's bar retained?
