  1. one of the local push pull sets at Wellingborough London road - this is the LNWR station, built before the MML station, Welingborough Midland Road
  2. I know they don't open regularly, I go and exhibit at their model event, they aren't very welcoming, spoke to a few ex members. Didn't even get food at the model weekend. I'm not surprised they don't have the facilities to open to the public often, their aren't enough members, and they all disagree with each other so nothing gets done.
  3. I don't think they have been completely shut down, they still run trains, all be it a de-branded pacer, which the bought sometime before or just as lockdown started. I think this is because they have nothing else to run, the steamers gone, I don't know if their smaller diesels are operating
  4. My newer push pull set, the push pull coach itself I'd done, however the second coach isn't, in the process of being lined
  5. These are some airfix 16t coal wagons i did a while back, got them dead cheap as new old stock and tried some weathering techniques on them, some turned out better than others.
  6. Yes, I know a few members there, only one person in the whole club ever really gets out to rallies and events with his roller. The society's vehicles only ever go to hall park and back. Recently sold 250, the Northampton Daimler that was sat outside for years. Their steamer is also scattered all over the yard too. Really not in a good state. Hopefully it gets better.
  7. Thank you, I get the spelling wrong all the time, I have seen Rushden station In person, it's nice but not too much happens there now
  8. Just posting to see if anyone has anymore info on these coaches, the one shown here is made from a grafar ex LMS coach, alot of detail taken off to show the later variant. Painted, lined and numbered, I also have an ivatt 2mt, 41277. She was shedded at Wellingborough (15a later 15B) working along the Higham ferris route. Another one of these sets went to Northampton, most of the time hauled by 41328, another ivatt tank. There is very little documentation of these two sets, I have many photos of the sets in the late 50s, using these for reference I have made 2 push pull coaches and one other coach to go with it. Only one push pull coach is shown here, if anyone has any info at all about these sets, please leave a comment below.
