  1. Try looking for kits that have parts resembling it. I believe it was a kit-bash from other kits
  2. I remember reading somewhere that it was a brass kit
  3. Quote from wiki: This model, unlike the character it portrays, is based upon a G&SWR 403 Class locomotive. It didn't work very well, and the motor only worked in one direction. As a result, it was soon replaced with another model of James, and was subsequently repainted into a G&SWR green livery, in order to represent the first member of that class, number 403.
  4. Yes, it is a recent photo. I heard it ran like garbage and had a one direction motor. Sometime in the 50s or 80s (it's unclear) it got sent to Stewart reidpath for a new chassis and motor. I'm starting to think it's scratch built
  5. Yes, I got the photo from rev w awdry's James mrk1. I just asked Whitehousefilms who made it, hopefully he knows. Also it's oo gauge.
  6. Who made this kit of the 403 class? It was definitely made in the mid 40s or early 50s.
  7. I've been looking for a while now, Where can I find one? I don't care if it's a non-runner!
  8. I've been looking for a bit, where can I find one at? I don't care if it's a non-runner!
  9. Finally someone is making a model of this thing
  10. 10 where built in 1874 for the Luxembourg line numbered 808-818. The 812 was transformed in 1897 into a prototype of the type 12 and 811 was transformed to a type 4. Two where taken by force in WW1 No. 815 and 817. 815 got destroyed in conflict but 817 survived and got scrapped in 1926. The rest where withdrawn from service between 1923-1926
  11. In this image you can see that the end of the boiler is slanted, however Dennis Alenden's is still accurate because they got new boilers in the 1890's
  12. I found this image of one. No. 815. Got destroyed in WW1
