Many thanks, Jim. I don't usually try using super glue for butt joints but it might be worth it here. I don't need much strength in the joints but the stickiness of super glue might do the job. Brian

I have recently dragged from the back of my store an aged George Alan kit for some 4mm GWR station seats. It contains a number of pieces of brass to be glued together to make five seats. Not easy to do but IS-12 is recommended for assembly. Can anyone remember what this was? Was it just an epoxy resin or something more subtle? Thanks, Brian
