Hi Duncan I've just read the article about your layout in the latest Model Rail magazine. It looks absolutely fantastic in the photos. It is a real credit to your family.

Evening Everyone,
I have finished the catwalks and laddering and the radio mast at Shirebrook, note the cabling between the admin block and radio tower and junction boxes on the building. The etches I drew were very fine and delicate, soldering up was difficult, I'm sure that one of you could do better, the metalwork was painted with a colour from the Humbrol Metalcote range. Trunking and junction boxes built from styrene sections.
This looks so realistic Duncan. Fantastic work.

Whats all this rumour about certain societies and maybe other stands being dropped after booking a space in favour of a large retailer/manufacturer?
I was going to go but parking on that field after all this rain - I don't think so.
There wasn't any problem with parking on the field despite all of the heavy rain leading up to the show. And as for people moaning about certain societies not being allowed to attend this year, i think it's just sour grapes. If it wasn't for the large traders attending and no doubt paying a large sum of money to do so the admission prices would have to go up to cover the costs.
And if you didn't go you missed an excellent show.

I went yesterday and it was an excellent day. The £3 parking charge is first class value as I was expecting to pay the £5 which it has been in previous years. The show it's self seems to go from strength to strength and it must now be regarded as one of the best shows in the country.

Did they sort the photography issues? I really wanted to support it, but the quality was utterly dismal on so many photos for reasons I could never fathom.
I can't say that I've ever really had a problem with the photos. It's nice to have a magazine which is totally devoted to N Gauge.

N Gauge Now mags are excellent.

We recently attended the Haywards heath show. However, our only show for the rest of this year will be Faversham in September.
Ok thanks.
-
Will you be attending any shows in the remainder of this year with Banbury ?

What a shame for all of the exhibitors concerned. These mindless thugs should be made to pay for all of the damage caused.
