SHOW CANCELLED Due to a serious outbreak of influenza at the Kings of Wessex school in Highbridge, all external bookings for this weekend have been cancelled by the governing body. 500 pupils have been infected, two of which ended up in hospital. The school in planning to have a deep clean done this weekend and may even close the school. I regret that at this late stage we have no alternative but to cancel the model railway show. My thanks to all the exhibitors and traders who were due to visit us this weekend.

Sedgemoor Rail Christmas Model Railway show December 14th and 15th from 10am to 4pm Venue: King Alfred School, Burnham Road, Highbridge TA9 3EE. 15 confirmed layouts in at least 6 different gauges and in addition the ever popular Lego layout with a new design. Happy to now be able to confirm that we have an O gauge layout the 'Merioneth and Llantisilly Rail Traction Company Ltd' and a small 4 foot x 2 foot N gauge layout that is under construction to replace Marsh Junction. In addition we will have expert modeller Steve Dodd on hand to give advice on building model railways with his GLR stand. To replace Frome Model Shop we are happy to welcome Lord & Butler from Penarth

List out layouts attending. Unfortunately I've received late notice this week that Frome Model Shop and their layout Marsh Junction cannot attend.
