I think I have found an alternative in W1922 as I found a May 1960 dated photo of it in Maroon.

Do you know that SO W3984, FK W13127, SK W24379, BG’s W80725/81266/80708, BCK W21021, CK W15066 all carried BR Maroon before 1962. 
Do you think there would have been any Western Region allocated FO’s and RFO’s in Maroon before 1962 also?

I know that CK W15622 was still in Blood and Custard in 1964.

i am planning to renumber 3 Maroon Mark 1’s to Western Region numbers. Can anyone see if RMB W1815, BSK W34152 and RU W1915 carried Maroon livery before 1962.

Hi, I have found a photo of S1720 at Southampton in December 1960, do you think the Midland Region and Southern batch were built at roughly the same time so the Midland ones would also have been in service at this time.

Also does anyone know if the Western Region Mark 1 FO’s and BSO’s were out-shopped in Chocolate and Cream when new?

which have Western and Eastern allocated numbers.

Hi, I am trying to research which Mark 1’s were allocated to the Scottish region in 1959-1961 as I would to create a rake using Bachmanns new Mark 1’s when they come out.
