37/4 37418 An Commun Gaidhealach with 'Caroline' at Bridlington earlier today.
Interestingly, it didn't go to Scarborough as planned as it stopped in Platform 6 and went back the way it came.

3 Class 66s in Bridlington today. I'll admit that the first two photos aren't good due to many trees being in the way but you can tell they're there.

That model looks great. Love the weathering on it too. Looks just as good as the real thing!

Daleks!
Oh wait. I'm already doing it.

Now, the 3 invasion Daleks and the Time War Daleks will be painted up as planned as was the damaged one but I now have a different plan for it upon discovering this photo:
-
I brought 2 more Invasion Daleks recently (the 2 at the back with the sprues still attached) and I've just found out that one of the original invasion Daleks I bought is missing its gun.

A railway line next to an airfield, with an unexpected landing, on the railway line.
I had that on my very first "layout".
There was an airfield and it had a metal Spitfire on it with wheels up to represent a emergency landing. Unfortunately I don't have any photos as it was a long time ago!

Models still expensive

I believe Dame Vera Lynn still holds the record back to Pickering after (I think) Taw Valley slipped to a stand and delayed all trains. Made up something like 30mins from Goathland?
I don't remember the exact details but it was summer and it was almost dark by the time we got back. I won't forget her hunting, the coal falling off the tender while the crew were hanging on, and the train braking for the curves. I should imagine the statute of limitation has passed for that crew. Sadly also something of the past now everyone has a GPS Speedo in their pocket.
How fast were they going? Surely not 25mph?
Things that make you :)
