Most people on here including myself seem to be concentrating on RTR rolling stock, but something that is lacking in my opinion is some decent signalling. It’s either too large, too frail or too expensive or it very limited.
A nice range of semaphore or aspect light signals to scale would I think go down well

Who let the dogs out , there is a little terrier running around Little Framling in the shape of Rolvenden. I know it isn’t what I’m modelling but after seeing the terriers in the display case at Invicta I just had to get one , and there was only one I wanted and that was Rolvenden.
I have also added some of the buildings in there places , I am so pleased with how the layout is turning out

Hello everyone, I have been doing a bit more work on the small approach to the cattle dock , added some turf and earth scatter , some bushes and trees , and a light to the approach and i have started some fencing that will shield off the cattle dock.
I have started a few layouts over the years in OO and N gauge , but I have never finished them , this time I am going to

Hello everyone, life has slowed down a little at Little Framling as the weather has been quite good and I have been busy in the garden . Popped to my local model railway shop yesterday to get some scenic bits and pieces which I got , but I also ended up with three LNER six wheeler carriages which I quite pleased with, and I have been working on with the Station Masters garden which is looking pretty good
That is it for now

Hello everyone
Another piece of the Little Framling puzzle has been completed, and that is the cattle dock . It has been quite a long time since I started work on the dock and now it’s is finally done except for the live stock
I have been working on a few other bits and pieces and those will be following along quite soon

Very charming.
This has the feel of Colchester Town which would be my prototype of choice if I wasn't already fully committed to a London location. There's an S gauge layout which is similar on the exhibition circuit called Abbey Street which is worth seeing although these pictures don't show it off fully. It's in the Chelmsford area. http://www.s-scale.org.uk/gallery28.htm

Hello Andrew
That is a very impressive layout , with levels of detail I can dream of , pretty much like yours

Hello everyone (again) , I was hoping to get a be good bit done tonight on board 2 , unfortunately I ended up working late so I didn’t manage to do as much as i would have liked
So where am I up to on board 2 , well the track has been weathered and glued down, almost finished the the banking where the railways terrace houses will sit and the allotments.
I have added the goods shed and signal box in their locations

Hello everyone
Here is the latest update on Little Framling. I have been busy building my signal box, which is a Wills kit with the Ratio interior kit and has a while to do as the paint has taken an age to dry because it’s not exactly warm at the moment
I took a couple of photos before the roof was finally glued down so you can see the interior and the signal man who is having a munch on a sandwich after setting the road for the next departure

@Gravy Train & @Philou Thank you for your comments and yes I appreciate any constructive criticism. I am very much on a learning curve, I have used thicker card than I did on my first which did cause the walls to bow quite a bit. I have used a bit more reinforcement in the corners
As for printing I have got some pretty good colour printers at work lol , so I have all ready down loaded and printed off some scale scenes brick
I won’t be going as crazy as I did with the station building and doing interiors but it will be lit up
Here is the latest photo of the Railway Inn , still very much in the early stagesJayne

Hello everyone
My second scratch build did not start very well , having built the front wall of the inn , I was having a good look at it and decided that I had built it a bit too small and that the rest of the building once completed would look tiny compared to the others, so I started again.
I am glad I did as the new slightly enlarged building shell certainly looks a lot betterJayne

Hello everyone
Well after laying the track on board two what I thought would be a straightforward test turned out to be anything but. As you know electrics are not exactly my strong point , and I had a short and I could not fathom where it was , so I redone all the drops and bus testing as I went and it seemed fine , so feeling all proud of myself I connected it all up and lo and behold the short was still there , so then I looked at the points and the first one I looked at I found the problem , the tiny air gap leading to the frog had closed and that was the cause , so next time I’ve a short I will be checking the points first
So now after a successful test I can continue with the track weathering and the glueing down and then the scenery can begin

Still one of my favourite layouts on here, hopefully one day I’ll catch you showing at an exhibition
