  1. Thanks! This worked wonders!
  2. Uhhh, how much 'faith' am I to expect to require?
  3. Just wondering on the best way to achieve this part?
  4. Hi all I acquired a second hand Hornby A4 Merlin yesterday, and am considering converting it to DCC. However, I have not been able to work out from my brief look, as to how to get into the tender. At fear of breaking the tender body shell, I thought it best to ask you wonderful folks for help as to how to get inside the tender. So.... How is it done? Here is a view of the underside of the tender, if it is of any use: I am already considering converting it to a hardwired (Well, plug/socket) connection between the loco and tender, so that the conductivity is more consistent, and to be able to pack the tender with weight, keeping the decoder inside the locomotive. (Yes, looking at the above photo I have just realised how much the wheels need cleaning - I did just have it arrive in the mail however) Thanks all! - LRTNZ
