  1. Just so. There are two machine screws forward of the axle, and two locating pegs behind the axle. The locating pegs on my rocket protrude slightly above the surface of the axle retaining unit.
  2. Well, I'm only a beginner, but I still reckon this is a tiny model. There doesn't seem like much room in that barrel to me! It runs fine on DC, but DCC is needed. I'm looking forwards to some expert guidance! By the way, I pre-ordered the commemorative pack from Hornby, and it arrived three days ago.
  3. I've just received my Rocket, and stuff me, it's tiny! It really is very, very small. I hadn't realised just how dinky it was from watching the Hornby videos. It seems very well built, and the barrel join is invisible when viewed from more than a foot away (at least with my eyes....) The only fault was that the chimney crown had fallen off. Easily reglued. I can't run it as I need to put a DCC chip in, but looking at the size of the barrel, I think I'll leave it to the experts to pave the way. Cheers, Trevor (new member)
