Hello all, Thank you for allowing me to join me. My first question is trivial in the extreme, but I've been wrestling with it for days and it's driving me nuts. Surfing through looking for a particular site, I came across something that I'd never come across before. A site dedicated to all things GWR. And when I say all things, I'm talking books, novelty items, prints and paintings (Cuneo etc), diecasts, farm equipment, the whole shebang! Unfortunately, I failed to note it when I came out, and couldn't find anything in my history cache for some reason. Does anyone know of this Alladins cave? While I'm here just for your interest, I'modelled since my teens, inluding o, but for various reasons never actually had a layout. Closest I ever got was running in the garden. For the last three years I've been working (living in Holland) with Standard gauge 3, and although I only had a balcony, took the plunge and joined the local club (another first), so got my first taste of a proper layout. Unfortunately the very well paid job ((which was how I was able to afford gauge 3) relocated to Poland, and I wasn't prepared to be that far away from family. Luckily, this all coincided nicely with the start of my pension however, I have to be more careful financially from now on so, as I want more than a couple of locos and twenty or thirty wagons, goodbye gauge 3, and hello o gauge.
