  1. 2mm point rodding stools !!

  2. Will you have 2mm finescale point rodding on the layout too?

  3. Hello Using such large sheets of plasticard how do you prevent the structure from warping? The same question applies to the bridge spans. Excellent modelling.
  4. I've seen a set of replacement (00,EM, S4) frames in etched nickel silver for this kit. I have just emailed the supplier and I'll let you know if they have any stock. It's a shame that this kit has not been upgraded during the years it has been available. I hope someone does not make a RTR version as I have three to build. All the best with your build.
  5. Interesting - I might try my one again, though I won't do anything that would affect the return option. Can't find 1400 on Hattons website, maybe they still have some for returns? With the cost of the loco being higher than average you would have thought that QC would have been better and that it would run slowly. I am comparing a RTR loco with the masterpiece I saw running on Canada Road...
  6. On checking my D9500 it's OK running long bonnet first, however it hesitates somewhat in the short bonnet direction. Is this similar to what other people have experienced? Will running improve or should I return it to Hattons for replacement?
  7. Great gallery, sorry to say checking today clicking in "Gallery" returned "No images"

  8. They look really ugly (IMHO). What about special British requirements. Like is there anywhere to brew-up and put down your mug? Seriously though how good is the sound proofing and air-con in the cabs? Always a source of complaint with 66s. As for no walkway grabrails - British Health N' Safety rules or loading gauge problem?
  9. Looks like BR haven't filed down the mould line on the buffer faces. :icon_clap: Just received the model very nice, very nice indeed.
