Brew Up

Hi all, long time since I've posted due to pursuing other hobbies. The PI Victory has drawn me back though. Mine arrived last week and I can't wait to build the layout I have planned for it to live on. I want to add sound to my Victory. The videos I've seen of sound fitted versions running seem to "chuff" twice as much as they should. Would something like a J94 sound file be ok to use for that twin cylinder sound? Sound fitted versions of the one I wanted seemed to be out of stock so had to go down the route of adding it myself afterwards.

I already have the BR one, so that's why I was asking about back dating that. As it was discounted it seemed like the best option as the LNER version also would of needed modifying to some degree and also wasn't in stock at the time.

Superb work, very inspirational. Where do you get the decals from for renumbering the locos and markings for wagons?

I'm looking to backdate my BR Hornby J15 to pre-grouping spec for use on a WW1 layout. Does anyone have a list of what needs changing? So far I've think roof needs lowering, different safety valves, stovepipe chimney, Westinghouse pump to be be removed and coal boards on tender to be removed. Any suggestions for a source of bits to make some of these changes? Thanks, Dean
