Thank you for your kind comments. Reference the car park, it was very challenging for us as it was our first time at the venue and with the building work at the school still ongoing part of the car park was out of use. Apart from early on Saturday it settled down to a steady rhythm for the rest of the weekend. It wasn't by choice we put two Diesel depots together, it's rather like a huge jigsaw when doing the floor plan. I do try to separate layouts that are similar in appearance and era etc but sometimes the size of the layout does dictate where it goes. Thank you David your kind words are appreciated. Thank you John it's much appreciated. Thank you for your kind comment. We did have two seating areas planned for the hall but due to a couple of layouts adding extensions which we didn't know about we had to shuffle the floor plan about which unfortunately mean't we lost the two seating areas. We did end up with a smaller seating area in the hall but there were plenty of seats outside which with the weather was rather pleasant. The Blyth & Tyne MRS would like to thank all the exhibitors, demonstrators, traders and visiting members of the public for making this years show very enjoyable. Having a new venue has given us new challenges which we will learn from to ensure we put on a better show next year. Next year is the 50th Anniversary of the Blyth & Tyne MRS and we will be returning to the John Spence Community High School on the following dates - 28th & 29th July 2018. We will be having a 'North Eastern' theme to the show bringing back some classic based NE layouts as well as bringing some new NE layouts which will go on to be classics. Just incase you like other railway companies from the UK & abroad, there will be representatives from these. Regards Chris
