Hello, & looking for experienced help!
I'm very new to Railway layouts and buildings. I have a young Son that loves all railway and I have therefore started a layout for him in a spare room. I have scratch built a engine shed for him which has 6 lines going into it and is approximately 1200mm x 600mm in size. I built the frame, shed doors and roof windows from Birch Coffee stirring sticks. I then covered the shed in Balsa and made up the chimneys.
I have looked online and cant find anything large enough that I'd like to use to cover it being that I'd like embossed slates and red engineered bricks. Online sellers all seem to supply these in small packs of 4 and the sheet sizes are small. It would mean having too many joins all over the shed which I'd really like to avoid. Can anyone suggest where I can purchase the large embossed sheets I require. Or any other ideas you may have for covering this would be welcomed. Thanks for taking the time to read my request.
