  1. Well, I stuck at it and with a nudge from the German Traincontroller forum, with the help of Google Translate, I worked it out for myself. If this is read by anyone wanting to know, Yes it all works fine on my TC Bronze layout. Many Thanks
  2. Hi, My setup is currently DR5000 + Dr4088 + Dr4018 with Traincontroller software operating my OO Gauge layout. All is fine for running Trains but I am now trying to control my signals via the DR4018 and not having much success. I have searched forums elswhere and cannot find any guide lines. Does anybody run a simular set-up?
  3. Your right. No offence taken. I was just a bit frustrated at not knowing the answer to my wows and yes a bit over sensitive to questions about my approach to mojo. 🤣 I know you are the man when it comes to iTrain and I bow. Take care.
  4. Thank you Robert, what a gentleman. Restored my faith in forums. 👍 I tried what you suggested and got an instant result. No doubt I will come across other issues, so I may well be back. 😀 It is amazing how easy it is when you know how. I did not in this case Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
  5. I did not expect to be ridiculed. You have to remember " each to there own". If no one knows here I will move on.
  6. New challenge mainly. As I said iTrain works well. But new challenge restores my mojo.😂
  7. Hi I am in the process of moving over to Traincontroller Bronze from iTrain and am having a "Blind Spot" trying to figure out how to set up my 3 x DR4088LN CS detectors to TC. Occupancy detection works fine in iTrain, but not in Traincontroller. My set up uses a DR5000 and 3 x Dr4088LN CS units. I have attached a photo of my setup in iTrain, a Screen from the DR5000 and a photo of my settings for the Traincontroller. You can see that the TC screen is not showing Red (occupied) even though my class 08 is in Block FB25 address 41. The Class 08 operates fine in manual control. I feel sure its obvious to you, but I am struggling to find a fix. Be glad of any advice. George
  8. Hi, I can visualize your method for the Tortoise points and will give it a try. What glue would you recommend to glue the foam back in place? I am using Kingspan, which may not be the best but was all I could find locally. I found Kenb Patterson, but could not pin point which episode you refer to. Over the course of time I will probably watch them all. Thanks for taking the time to reply, its appreciated. Stay safe George
  9. Hi Thanks for the reply. I am going to give that a try, cutting in from above and from below, on some 50mm scrape first. Jpendle, you are right, there are two threads, one before I spoke to John at DCC CONCEPTS and one after. Hey, I am just learning. Thanks for the advice. Stay safe George
  10. Hi all I am relatively new to the hobby and am just building my second layout. I want to put height into my new simple layout and am using Kingspan insulation board 50mm thick. Thae question I have is how o I fit Cobalt Digital Points in 50mm foam baseboard. I contacted Dcc Concepts and had a phone chat with John who kindly told me that it was difficult and usually avoided. What I am wondering is has anybody tried this? Kind Regards George
  11. Hi I am new to model railways in general and joined this site today. I am looking for ideas how to set Cobalt IP Digital points in 2" (50mm) kingspan foam bed. I have designed my OO layout with Anyrail software and laid the printed layout (8'x5') onto my OBS and foam baseboard. I have about 4 sets of points to set, and can find little information on line. Any ideas to point (Pun) me in the right direction would be appreciated. GandT
