  1. J94, austerity tank, take yer pick, but, do we have a definitive name for the person who is attributed to the original design?
  2. Thank you! I measured Snowdown shed, counted the bricks and made a drawing, the toothed bricks were a sod to do, I spent many a happy hour there mid 70s, been wanting to do this for a very long time ( probably since the arrival of the lima 09!)
  3. Stupid machine won't let me turn images around- sorry, think the samsung needs anthracite!
  4. Eventually you will see what I have created on my narrowboat, it is far from ready, and for some reason the post was upside down
  5. Cheers for that, I have seen this Page a few times unfortunately a lot of the flkr images have been removed and have a fair few images (bylines annual vol.3(I think!) On snowdown colliery, and various other publications (Steam in the coalfields, Those dirty miners, etc and Kesr Bobby's images, I know that the spacing between masts was approx 100ft at Deal yard, but it is the actual height of the masts, diameter, length and diameter of the support bracket and angle of the support for that, plus the conductor and insulators that are crucial ( and of course the correct terminology!) If I am going to going to be able to create something worth presenting to the 3D printer...
  6. Snowdown colliery engine shed, 4mm ...

  7. Wotcha all Has anyone got any definitive drawings the southern region 650v dc catenery masts, height, diameter etc, I know the Brockley se4 chap did a splendid job, as the p4 balcombe sidings, but does anyone actually know how tall they were? I've just put in a request to the nrm library and bought a selection of brass rod, but it appears that I now have access to a 3d printer, so some drawings would be a bit fab! Cheers in advance from a narrowboat on the Oxfordshire canal (yep 4mm fs in a boatmans cabin!)
