Yes, I know Pat quite well, he really is very helpful.The castings always seem to colour up so well if you are prepared to spend the time with them. The addition of some buildings always brings the layout to life. Good luck as you progress. David

Hi John This is really coming on nicely.Are those Townstreet castings in one of your earlier images? Has the lady who is making the model of the Station buildings made much progress since I saw you at the exhibition? Good to see the updates David

Good to meet you too.I spoke with one of you on Saturday afternoon with my Father. It was good to see the layout in the flesh for the first time.It certainly brings into perspective just how much room you need to model even a medium sized station.Will continue to look forward to your updates,good luck with the rest of the project. The rooms were quite busy when we were there, which must have been encouraging for the organisers,was it better attended than last year?

It was last weekend at the Museum Of Lincolnshire Life on Burton Road - sadly I didn't go either. But I would like to see some pictures if you have some as a matter of interest.

Hi Welly, Thanks for putting me right,it does seem a while ago now.Perhaps I remember it being removed by crane onto a low loader. As you say it definately wouldn't have been able to have moved far by itself as it was stood on an unconnected short piece of track.

My local station,so an interesting project to follow. Now of course some of the lines were lifted many years ago.IIRC at one time a preserved Class 03 was presumably craned over the walls and sat near the signal box at the High Street end of the station.I think it remained there for some time before being removed.I can remember seeing pictures in the local paper. Good luck with it anyway, and are you going to scratch build the station buildings?
