I need some more B&B autocouplings. It's a long time since I bought any and I know the owner must be in his mid-80's now so I wondered if anyone knows if he's still trading, just to save me sending a postal enquiry which probably won't get there till after Christmas now. Alternatively, does anyone know if the 4mm Dingham autocouplers have been taken over by anyone else, since the owners retirement? I know that the 7mm version is now being sold by the Gauge O Guild. I've tried the DG ones but I can't get on with them, the latch seems to end up very floppy with a lot of lateral movement. Many thanks for any advice. Kev

I'm about to start on a couple of GWR 0-6-0's and I can't get hold of my preferred gearbox, the Roadrunner+, as HLK aren't back in business yet. Looking at alternatives, there's the Comet GB5 which can have a drive extender added that seems to give the same sort of configuration possibilities, and the Branchlines Slimline 2SL box which might also give me what I need. Just wondering if anyone has experience of either of these, before I spend my hard-earned dosh? Many thanks in advance. Kev
