5 hours later and yes, I have managed to scrape my hands, though trying not to paint the carpet/lino whilst painting said skirting boards was a bit of a trial! Undercoat done, gloss coat to go, then ceiling and walls. I wonder if I'll get a thin enough coat to let the detail show through
