Hello Derek, of course I remember the Aire Valley Railway, it was a great source of ideas and inspiration back in the day when I was just getting started with a layout.   I'd love to hear more of the story.

To celebrate GWR 175 there will be steam working on the line this weekend.

Don't know exactly what will be running, but the flier shows a pic of a 94XX

Maybe someone who is planning to go can let us know exactly what is running.

It's amazing how you have captured the complex curves of the ends and roof.
