There's supposed to be a J4 coming from Classix, it was announced at least a year ago. I wonder though what's happening with Classix as there has been no new issues for quite a while.
Hattons are now showing new catalogue for Pocketbond "Classix" 2013/14 the answer might be inside it?

Can't seem to access this.
Log into your Facebook account, then in top blue strip in search box type ' oxford diecast collectors' it should come up with this group link.

New pictures can be found on Model Railway Express MAG web site this morning, plus some of HO scale cars.
-
If you go onto Facebook and look under Oxford Diecast you will see some artist drawings and photos of new items
-
Thanks for the info, just look at Hattons site, one of the items is a container lift/reach stacker manufacture by Konecranes. I would expect to find them on everyone layout,s who has containers.

Apologies if I'm repeating something posted elsewhere, but if I recall correctly, one of the vehement criticisms of the Hornby 4VEP was the use of an ex-Lima pancake motor.
I have just read the Todeller review of the 2BIL and it says 'The units are powered by the standard Hornby multiple unit motor bogie, as found in the 4-VEP.'
Can anyone enlighten me: is this now considered to be a satisfactory unit?
JE
You should read this week newsletter on Kernow Model railway web site.

Model Rail mag states that 2BIL is to be release in January
-
Have a look at Hornby web site, Youtube clip of 2BIL now showing, it looks good

Hi its now on their web site Oct 2012 to Jan 2013, new pictures of various truck modelsDoes anyone know when Oxford bring out new catalogues: I notice that the latest catalogue on their website is labelled June to September 2012? I know that it's not yet the middle of October, but when should we expect an October to December catalogue?
I'm hoping for virtually any car from the late 1990s in 1:76 scale: especially if it is a Ford or a Vauxhall.
Regards
David

This weeks Kernow newsletter has an up date on THUMBER now price has gone up to £129 for new pre orders and when released £139. Also date is now showing as early 2013, its a shame that something like this has taken so long to come around and we are still waiting. I am sure it will be good and I hope 2013 date will be met.

Yes they are going to be 1/76, this also includes the 111 cabs, due 2013 according to the Diecast Collector articial. Is the upcoming Scania T cab in 1:76 scale?

Have you try getting in touch with the Freight Transport Association, as some of the pictures above show FTA vehicle inspection service yearly sticker's in front nearside windscreen, they might beable to tell location of inspection sites over the years they have inspected vehicles. Since 1999 all there inspections have been recorded on laptops by there engineers. Hope this is useful informationAndy
The only info I have on J839 is from yourself and 'semitrailer'. I have had a go through my lists and found those that I have records of. Not that many, I'm sure there were more but the info is hard to find. A lot appear in flickr pictures of sheds but numberplates not readable.

Does anyone know of a 1:76 Cement Mixer truck suitable for the early sixties?
I have looked around the web but cannot see anything suitable being available yet.
Have a look on Road Transport Images web site in the 'Galleries By Make' section select Foden and you will find a picture of mixer truck which they used a body of Cararama Scaina. They have just done a model using Best mixer body fitted to a Leyland Freighter cab, this is found in cab section on page 6.
I have used a Base toy LAD cab/chassis and fitted a secondhand japen mixer body got from a collector fair stall a few year back. see pictures left to right, Best, Cararama, Base Toys and Herpa.
You might find ho scale Herpa to small ?
Hope this helps
