Did the Zs work Feltham yard too?

Probably off topic - will this mean some new Bulleid (sp?) coaches in due course?

RE the 'chocolate option'
Yus, it is the tray that holds the chockies. I find it softens at lower temperatures than styrene. I sometimes use the leftover heat from the oven (on a tray on paper) a hair dryer, the iron (between paper). Localised reheating can be done with a soldering iron held close.
I have tarped loads that have held enamel for more than 20 years. I don't know about acrylic though

I've made plastic tarpaulin from the inner trays of chocolate boxes. Warm it up 'till pliable, then pull over a former.

Ronnie....oops!.... I can only blame brain fade. Too much to do and no time to do it in, and titanium got stuck in my head :-S
-
RonnieS..... Lead is far more dense than Titanium

Lead is getting on for 3 times as dense. Tin might be a candidate though?

Steel has an SG of ~7.8 , Titanium 4.5 ........ perhaps allowing for the air spaces between the balls, it's steel?

I don't know if anybody has suggested this ...... but how about a LBSC C2X?

It would be a useful loco for small and large layouts, plus I would probably have two

You know - you can really hate some people
............... but yes, it's a great model indeed

By golly, that plumbing looks super! Just wish I could achieve that in 4mm

Woefully off topic Iknow .... but.........
Changing the bushes in the suspension would help 'reconnect' to the steering and generally checking as Derek said for blocked vents. Yes headlights can seem a little narrow in their reach ... get some contemporary driving lamps perhaps? My Mini has 4 Cibies in addition to H4 lamp upgrade

While these comments may be true, they're not really helpful surely?

Or a metallic silver Mk2 Cortina with great leprous patches where the paint has returned to its powder state and fallen off.
...... ah yes , the dreaded 'paint mange' affecting IIRC Saluki Bronze, Silver Fox and a metallic blue that I can't recall

I'll be looking to use the N for conversion to U, U1 maybe N1 but with etched/scratched chassis

I have used toothpaste to polish aircraft canopies

Thanks for the offer but I already have some ( Some! )
-
I would do that, but tenders seem to be somewhat costly on e-bay
-
Thanks for reply Chris. I have pretty much decided on Gibson wheels, and was wondering about pick up arrangements - now I know
-
PooT! ....I want one but...... All eight wheel tenders, I want a six wheeler. I guess it'll be e-bay and hope *sighs*

Does this method not cause eccentricity at the hub/axle interface?

Fairy snuff
-
You can get it through ebay .....
.... as far as I know it has no real uses for any nefarious purpose, so shouldn't attract any attention

You could nickel plate the brass ones Horse. Use Nickel Sulphate, I've done this with some carburettor butterflies.
