I recently completed another DJH HO model. Getting the valve gear right is one of the daunting aspects of building steam locomotive models. Having done it several times now with consistent good results I have written a detailed account of my method on building NS 5000 (ex WD 2-10-0) valve gear.

I got mine last Friday. Excellent model I must say, well worth the wait. The general impression is very good, running capabilities are good and it is a good puller. In the detail there are many signs of quick work, but nothing serious. For the price I can only recommend it.
