Does anybody know the current situation with these locos? Are they still sitting waiting?

2026. It is now 2014, whatever the rights and wrongs of this build the time it will take is ridiculus. The navies would have built it quicker than that with picks shovels and black powder!

Hello, I'd just like to say that I think your topic is one of the best on the net for info and pics. Thank you for all the time you put in.

This looks really interesting. The improvements to the track and the standard of ballasting are first class. I will be watching this with much interest.

Just found this thread and I have to say that a subject like this lives or dies by the quality of the modelling.
Got that nailed then guv, absolutley brilliant . Modelling of this quality attracts railway modellers and non railway modellers alike. A couple of days ago I was in the Games Workshop in Altrincham with my grandsons, the guys in there would have mobbed you to get a look at this.
Looking forward to more, thank you for the pleasure this has brought :locomotive:

I really like the looks of this, the buildings look great. I've been collecting stock for a similar layout, now I know why I've struggled to get hold of CDAs. You've got them all!!
Can't wait for more pics.

Being as beauty is so subjective it will always be hard to get people to agree on a subject. For my tuppence worth I give you the Seaboard Air Line E4 in citrus colours.http://www.railwayclassics.com/images/sal01/sal3002.jpg
Beautiful!!

This has to be one of the best layouts I have seen in a long time. As for being in the lounge, where else would you put a wonderful piece of art like this?
